Farm and Large Animal Services

As part of a rural community, our team is fully equipped to provide a wide range of services for pigs, goats, sheep, cows and other large animals that can be found on the farms of our clients. Whether they are part of your household for companionship or as “working” members of the farm, our team can keep all of your farm animals healthy all their lives. Do you make house calls for farm animals?

Yes, our veterinarians are able to visit and provide treatment to your farm animals directly on your property.

Can I take my farm animal to your clinic?

Yes, this is also possible. We can certainly accommodate smaller farm animals like pigs at the clinic. For larger animals, please ensure that you transport them in a suitable carrier or trailer, and we can treat them outside the clinic.

Do accept new clients or patients?

Yes, here at Antigonish Veterinary Clinic, we welcome as many cherished animals as we can effectively care for and manage.

What types of service do you offer for large animals or farm animals?

We are able to provide general care services for our patients who live on farms that include: parasite control, routine wellness exams, dental care, vaccinations, diagnostics and surgery.
